| Excel Technology South-Asia is headquartered in a new facility in Mumbai, India. Sales offices, service and repair centers, and a state-of-the-art Laser Applications Laboratory are all contained within this facility. The Laser Applications Laboratory is staffed with experts in laser materials processing who operate the facility’s extensive array of CO2, infrared, UV, and deep UV laser marking and micromachining laser workstations. The capabilities of this facility include marking and micromachining of steel, non-ferrous metals and alloys, inorganic non-metals, ceramic, diamond, silicon, and highly reflective non-ferrous metals and alloys. Rubber, wood, phenolic plastic, ABS plastic, polyethylene plastic, polypropylene plastic, glass, and composite materials are also effectively processed with either the CO2 or infrared Nd:YAG laser workstations. |

| This laser facility typically turns a customer’s laser application around within five days. All workstations are computer controlled and operated with Baublys-Control Laser, Quantronix, Synrad, or Control Systemation proprietary software. All workstations also incorporate either Synrad “all-metal”, sealed tube CO2 laser systems or Quantronix industrial-grade, solid-state Nd:YAG laser systems. |
